Arkote is also able to supply a complimentary range of knife
grinding products used both in the primary and making/tipping
areas of a tobacco manufacturing facility.
High quality bonded abrasive wheels made to OEM specifications
can be supplied for most model tobacco cutters. The Diamond
Dressers required to dress these wheels are also part of Arkote's
supply program.
Our associated company in Richmond, Virginia, USA is the manufacturer
of the well known range of Adamantine Grinding Wheels and Discs,
first introduced to the tobacco industry in 1967. These electroplated
abrasive tools made to OEM specifications are utilised in all
cigarette makers and tippers, and are made using Borazon®,
a synthetic diamond material manufactured by the General Electric
Corporation in the USA. A modern and environmentally friendly
process is used to manufacture these wheels and discs.
